Medrills, presented by ArchieMD, is a series of novel, mobile based (iOS and Android) applications that utilize 3D visualizations and interactives to teach emergency medical concepts and skills. These products combine 3D computer graphics and gaming technology to provide an inquiry-based, immersive learning environment for training on the go. The overall goal of Medrills has been designed to increase the knowledge of medical personnel, enable effective distribution of training materials, reduce training costs, and to improve certification rates nationwide. Individual Medrills series will be released for each of the four targeted groups (Military, Paramedic, Nursing, and Civilian) with the initial series of Medrills focused on Paramedic tasks and skills.
October 2012- All 15 Android Applications for EMTs or Paramedics now have testing mode enabled for receiving CEU certified by CAPCE
Calling all Android users! Medrills is happy to announce that we can now offer you continuing education credits on our EMT and Paramedic applications. Through CAPCE, all of our EMT/Paramedic courses have been accredited and assigned continuing education hours available to you! We are the first and only company offering CEH through the use of interactive mobile training applications. Now EMTs and Paramedics can access the testing mode of all of our EMT/Paramedic Apps through an in-app purchase. Pass the test with a score of 85% or higher and receive an amount of Basic or Advanced CEH assigned to each procedure*. These applications can be completed on the users' own time, making it much more convenient than traditional CE classes, and less expensive too! The comprehensive and interactive material combined with our amazing visuals make our apps a must have for any EMT or Paramedic.
*Information on the type of CEH and how many credits are available are accessed by clicking on the Testing Mode button from the Home Page before you purchase.
And for you Apple and iOS users, we haven't forgotten about you. You can look forward to the same testing and accreditation capabilities becoming available over the next few weeks.
October 2012- ArchieMD is Accredited by CECBEMS
This is a monumental day for us here at ArchieMD. We have just been approved for Organizational Accreditation through the Continuing Education Coordinating Board of Emergency Medical Services, the the national accrediting body for EMS continuing education courses and course providers. This is a huge step forward in our overall goal of being able to improve EMT certification rates, increase the knowledge of EMT personnel, reduce training costs, and enable effective distribution of training. We now have the capabilities to create, review, and approve EMS related coursework from our internal team and our external EMS partners.
It’s even more exciting for us because we are the pioneers/innovators of interactive digital training for EMS continuing education and we are the first company to offer CEH/CEU through applications on mobile devices (both Android and iOS). Over the next few weeks, all of our applications will be updated with the Testing Mode enabled which will give you access to obtaining CEH/CEU for Basic or Advanced levels of EMS Continuing Education.
